Join us at a community clean up
Teams from YHN and Newcastle City Council have been out and about litter picking and collecting rubbish from our estates across the city.
We want to help keep our streets clean and tidy, ensuring that we have safe neighbourhoods where residents are proud to live. Since the beginning of the year, we’ve collected around 76 bags of rubbish, which is roughly the height of the city’s high level bridge!
Would you like to make a positive contribution to your neighbourhood?
We’re looking for volunteers to help out with the next round of clean ups taking place between now and the middle of July. We’ll provide all volunteers with any equipment that is needed.
All clean ups take place from 9:30am – 11:30am, and details of all planned events are below.
