Spring celebrations in the community
Working in partnership with Ideal Boilers, YHN offered small grants to help customers and communities celebrate in Spring. Charities, community groups, schools and other organisations were invited to apply for a small grant of up to £250, to be used to celebrate the Coronation weekend or an alternative event within the community during Spring.
Applications were open during the month of April with grants aimed at groups that benefit the YHN community or residents and the YHN Community Fund.
Applicants were invited to complete an online form and were assessed against the following criteria;
- Applicants must be a registered organisation/charity and hold a bank account
- The money must benefit the YHN community or residents
In total, we allocated £7,415.00 worth of funding across 40 applications, with over 3,000 people benefitting from the proceeds.
