Tyne and Wear Homes is ending.
Tyne and Wear Homes, which has been a central point for social housing applications and advertising in the region, will soon be coming to an end. In Newcastle, we will be launching a new service called Newcastle Homes. The new service will launch on 7 December.
From this date, if you want to apply for, view or bid for council or housing association properties in Newcastle, you will need to visit www.NewcastleHomes.org.uk. Please note this website will only be available from 7 December.
If you are already registered for rehousing in Newcastle with Tyne and Wear Homes, you won’t need to do anything. Your housing application will be moved to Newcastle Homes and you can login using your existing Tyne and Wear Homes login and password.
If you are interested in properties in Gateshead, North Tyneside or South Tyneside you'll find the links to their websites at www.tyneandwearhomes.org.uk.
