The annual national Gas Safety Week every September is a good reminder of how important it is that gas appliances are regularly serviced by a registered gas engineer.
As a landlord, we take gas safety very seriously and carry out gas safety checks all year round to make sure that all of the properties we manage that have a gas supply are safe and well-maintained.
Gas safety checks by Your Homes Newcastle are free and keep you and your neighbours safe.
We will contact you every year to arrange your check – it is very important that you keep this appointment or let us know if you need to rearrange it.
It is our legal duty to carry out an annual check and something that you agree to in your Tenancy Agreement, so if we are unable to get access to your property to carry out a check we may take legal action against you.
