Is this cold weather causing problems with your boiler?
Since the freezing cold temperatures set in across the City we’ve seen a huge increase in reports from customers telling us that there condensate pipes are frozen and the boiler will not work. Could we please ask for your patience at this difficult time as we try to get customers heating back on and working.
If you have an Ideal Logic boiler, and you have a fault flashing up as L2, the video below has been published by Ideal which might help fix the problem.
If it works, please tell us, so we can cancel your repair to allow us to get round more customers.
If you don’t have the fault L2, but your boiler isn’t working then please check the following before reporting your repair:
- Do you have gas on your meter?
- Is your thermostats turned up?
- Are your programmers turned on?
If the answer to all of the above is yes, and you’re still having problems, please report your repair so we can come out and help you.
